Confidence + Achievement
The Library Found Me
New Book Release
Ricky’s powerful book, The Library Found Me, is at the heart of our mission. It’s a story of transformation, resilience, and the healing power of reading, writing, and self-discovery. Through his journey from incarceration to leadership, Ricky shares the struggles, breakthroughs, and lessons that shaped Tapped-In Mediaworks and the Returning Citizens Association.
This book serves as a guide for individuals searching for hope, for educators and librarians seeking real stories to inspire their communities, and for correctional facilities wanting meaningful material that supports rehabilitation. The Library Found Me reminds us that no matter where you start, your story can lead you to purpose, freedom, and a life worth living.
WHAT TAPPED-IN MEDIAWORKS IS ALL ABOUT
Tapped-In Mediaworks is a digital community built to inspire, empower, and uplift people
—especially those who are justice-impacted—
to reclaim their story, rebuild their lives, and unlock the next chapter of who they were meant to be.
Our mission is simple: use storytelling, resilience, and community support to help people transform their lives.
We believe that every person has a voice worth hearing, a future worth fighting for, and a purpose worth pursuing. Life is too short to stay stuck in the past when new possibilities are waiting.
But the journey of rebuilding yourself after trauma, setbacks, incarceration, or major life changes can feel overwhelming.
Have you ever felt like…
One day you know exactly where you’re going, and the next day you feel lost, discouraged, or unsure of your next step?
You share your goals with someone and they shut you down, making you question your potential?
You have so many ideas, dreams, and plans but you don’t know where to start or which path to follow?
You want to “make it happen,” but no one ever taught you how to do it, and now you feel stuck?
You feel like you’re meant for more, but the weight of your past or your responsibilities keeps pulling you back?
You want a better life—stability, peace, purpose but you feel overwhelmed and alone in the process?
You wish you had a community that understands your struggle and supports your growth?
If so, you’re human. We’ve been there too. And you are not alone.
Here’s the truth…
Rebuilding your life, whether after incarceration, trauma, or major transition is like walking into a future you’ve never seen before. It can feel confusing, lonely, unpredictable, and even scary. Some days you’re motivated; other days you’re exhausted. Some moments feel victorious; others feel like setbacks.
But here’s the thing:
You can rise.
You can rebuild.
You can become the person you were always meant to be.
And you don’t have to do it without support.
Tapped-In Mediaworks exists to give you guidance, inspiration, structure, and a community of people who get it. We’re here to help you stay focused on your goals, develop resilience, tell your story with confidence, and keep moving forward—no matter what.
“Transformation happens when you refuse to quit and choose to believe in your future.”
